I don't know of any off my head but sure there is, at a price of course (right now). Before the last was done away with stocked up on about half dozen. Can't see me going thru that many for a long time

No there is no preamp and you did not miss anything. Mark had his medical issue not long after and that derailed it.

Have not heard good things at all about the chinese replacements. Was able about 2 years back to get a discreet component circuit board build that replaced them for the STK0050 part number. Worked well and able to adj bias and all on the board. Just looked back and am not able to find the seller any...

Agree that at times he has the Everyone is against me attitude and the if it turns on its good kind of repairs. Never have seen him tune/adjust anything just gets it working and good to go. Not a hobbyist at all, always talks about doing it for the money, which is a big turn off to me.

Takraf I do agree with you. The hard part is finding the older spec'ed transformers I think. I can find transformers that have the correct specs for what I am fixing but, it won't fit the chassis and if you look for a "stock" replacement get ready to pay for over priced parts. Switches lik...

Mr Carlson has been running a series on his patreon channel starting from reading schematics and now in part 6 he is doing amplifier signal path. Yeah you have to pay for patreon but to me the 2$ i spend is not bad. He is a good teacher and not doing it at the engineer level either
