Hey Mark, I really have learned so much from your videos. One thing that I really would have appreciated early on and could still benefit from is for you to take a few representative units, mainly solid state, and explain what goes through your mind when you first open up the unit. For example, how do you identify the different circuit boards by appearance? How do you identify the parts that are in the signal path? Identifying simple things (not simple to me at first) such as filter caps, coupling caps, emitter resistors, output transistors etc. These kind of terms get tossed around a lot when a question is asked by a newby and it would be nice to be able to know what they all mean and how to identify them. Thanks so much.
